Die ersten Bestattungen hier nach der Gr\u00fcndung der \u00f6rtlichen j\u00fcdischen Gemeinde fanden etwa in der Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts statt.<\/p>\n<p>Der Friedhof wurde nach und nach in drei Etappen angelegt, mittlerweile gibt es rund 4.000 Grabsteine. Der wertvollste und gleichzeitig meistbesuchte Teil ist der Rabbinerh\u00fcgel mit den Grabsteinen von Mikulov und den m\u00e4hrischen Regionalrabbinern.
