Im Jahr 2002 wurde hier eine Gedenkst\u00e4tte f\u00fcr die Opfer des Holocaust mit dem Namen \u201eGarten der Erinnerungen\u201c errichtet.<\/p>\n<p>Die Hilfssynagoge in Pilsen befand sich ab 1875 im Smetana-Garten in Pilsen im Hof des Hauses Nr. 80\/5.<\/p>\n<p>Es verf\u00fcgte \u00fcber eine Frauenempore mit Zugang \u00fcber eine Steintreppe oder einen Durchgang vom ersten Stock der Alten Synagoge. Dank der einzigartigen Warmluftheizung wurde es auch als Wintergebetsraum genutzt. Es wurde wahrscheinlich bis 1892 f\u00fcr Gottesdienste genutzt. Es diente auch als j\u00fcdische Schule.<\/p>\n<p>Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg, als es als Lagerhaus diente, wurde der Innenraum verw\u00fcstet und ein Stockwerk aufgestockt.<\/p>\n<p>1997 st\u00fcrzte das Dach ein, das Gel\u00e4nde wurde ger\u00e4umt und 2002 wurde hier eine Gedenkst\u00e4tte f\u00fcr die Opfer des Holocaust, der Garten der Erinnerungen, errichtet. Auf die darin eingelegten Kieselsteine schrieben Freiwillige die Namen aller j\u00fcdischen Opfer aus Pilsen und Umgebung, die w\u00e4hrend der Nazi-Besatzung ums Leben kamen.
