Pierwsze poch\u00f3wki po za\u0142o\u017ceniu tutejszej gminy \u017cydowskiej mia\u0142y miejsce mniej wi\u0119cej w po\u0142owie XV wieku.<\/p>\n<p>Cmentarz powstawa\u0142 stopniowo w trzech etapach, obecnie znajduje si\u0119 na nim oko\u0142o 4000 nagrobk\u00f3w. Najcenniejsz\u0105 i jednocze\u015bnie najcz\u0119\u015bciej odwiedzan\u0105 cz\u0119\u015bci\u0105 jest wzg\u00f3rze rabinackie z nagrobkami rabin\u00f3w z Mikulova i Moraw.
