Binalar\u0131n\u0131n ve top bur\u00e7lu duvarlar\u0131n\u0131n uzunlu\u011funu dikkatlice \u00f6l\u00e7seydiniz, inan\u0131lmaz bir \u00fc\u00e7 kilometre sayard\u0131n\u0131z.<\/p>\n

Kale ve k\u00f6y kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131, Su\u0161ice'nin 9 km kuzeydo\u011fusunda, deniz seviyesinden 478 m y\u00fckseklikte, Otava nehri yak\u0131nlar\u0131ndaki kayal\u0131k bir tepede yer almaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Romanesk temellere sahip orta\u00e7a\u011f kalesi, Bohemya'n\u0131n ge\u00e7mi\u015finde \u00f6nemli bir rol oynad\u0131. Su\u0161ice ve Hora\u017e\u010fovice kasabalar\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki ticaret yolunu ve Otava Nehri \u00fczerindeki zengin alt\u0131n yataklar\u0131n\u0131 korudu. Bu nedenle kale s\u0131k s\u0131k sald\u0131r\u0131lar\u0131n hedefi haline geldi. Hatta Hussite sava\u015f\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 Jan \u017di\u017eka buray\u0131 iki kez fethetmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131 ve bedelini ikinci g\u00f6z\u00fcyle \u00f6dedi.
