Prague Hints is a travel guide to Prague and the Czech Republic built on first-hand experience. We cover the things visitors actually need to decide: which of the city’s hotels are worth their price, where to eat traditional Czech food without landing in a tourist trap, which castles make a good day trip, and what the city is like in each season.
Prague changes character through the year. Spring brings cherry blossom to Petřín Hill and the 复活节市场 to Old Town Square. Summer fills the beer gardens and the river islands. Autumn is the quietest and, for many people, the most beautiful. Winter brings the 圣诞市场, which run from late November into early January.
Beyond the city you will find guides to the castles around Prague, the spa towns of West Bohemia, and the small towns most itineraries skip. We also cover the practical side — public transport, sunrise and sunset times, what things cost, and the customs that catch visitors off guard.
Many of the photographs on this site were taken in Prague by 凯末尔奥努尔奥兹曼, who also works as a wedding, couple and proposal photographer in the city.
