There is something on in Prague every month of the year.

Prague Hints is a travel guide to Prague and the Czech Republic built on first-hand experience. We cover the things visitors actually need to decide: which of the city’s hotels are worth their price, where to eat traditional Czech food without landing in a tourist trap, which castles make a good day trip, and what the city is like in each season.

Prague changes character through the year. Spring brings cherry blossom to Petřín Hill and the Easter markets to Old Town Square. Summer fills the beer gardens and the river islands. Autumn is the quietest and, for many people, the most beautiful. Winter brings the Christmas markets, which run from late November into early January.
