La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise Restaurant in Prague

RestaurantWeek is the Czech festival of set menus. For a few weeks each spring and autumn, participating restaurants offer a fixed-price three-course menu, which makes it a cheaper way to try kitchens that normally cost far more. The autumn edition, the eighth so far, runs from 13 October to 18 November 2026 in Prague, Brno and Ostrava.

What to Expect

More than a hundred restaurants take part, over seventy of them in Prague. Each one designs a festival menu, and some offer meat and vegetarian versions. The list covers neighbourhood bistros, hotel restaurants and some of the names in our fine dining guide. Menus are published on the festival website, so you can compare them before you book.

How Booking Works

1. Choose
restaurant and menu
Menus come in two price levels, 490 Kč and 790 Kč per person.
2. Pick
date and party size
Reservations are for a minimum of two people.
3. Reserve
online
Book at restaurant-week.cz. The site charges a small booking fee per reservation, and prime-time slots cost a little extra.

Practical Notes

  • Book early: Friday and Saturday evenings at the best-known places fill up first. Weekday lunches and early evenings are easier to get.
  • Time limit: Each reservation is held for 90 minutes, so arrive on time.
  • Check details: Prices, fees and the list of restaurants are on the official site. Confirm them there before you book.

If you are new to Czech cooking, read what to eat in Prague first. It helps with menus that mix classic dishes and modern takes.
