March is when Prague changes character. Early in the month it is still cold and quiet; by the end the Easter markets are up on Old Town Square, the baroque gardens have reopened for the season, and the first blossom appears on Petřín. It is one of the best-value months — spring conditions without the spring crowds.

Photography in March
Changeable light and bare-to-budding trees give March a distinctive look. Overcast days are ideal for family portraits; clear evenings give long golden hours as the sun climbs higher.
For family and couple sessions in March, a local photographer will know which spots hold the light at that hour — 케말 오누르 오즈만 shoots families, couples and engagements across Prague and took many of the photographs on this site.
