By mid-morning it is one of the busiest places in the city, so a surprise proposal here needs an early start — between 05:30 and 08:00 depending on the season. At that hour the square is nearly empty, the Astronomical Clock and the Týn towers are lit softly, and you have the place almost to yourselves.

2. On Charles Bridge

Prague’s oldest surviving bridge replaced the Judith Bridge, destroyed by floods in 1342. Construction of the new 돌다리 began in 1357 under 찰스 4세 and finished in 1402. A small wooded island in the middle of the Vltava, reached by stairs from Legion Bridge. Almost no tourists, mature trees, and river views in both directions.
