St Lucy, whose feast falls on 13 December, is the patron saint of light. For the fourth year the Prague City Gallery (GHMP) and the team behind Signal Festival are marking her day at Troja Château. Contemporary light installations take over the baroque château, its gardens and some of its interiors from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December 2026. Entry is free.
Ne Beklemeli
The festival is a small, winter version of Signal, held in one of Prague’s best baroque settings. The digital works use light, rhythm and electromagnetic signals, and are placed around the formal gardens and inside the château. In earlier years they included a projection on the façade and pieces in the frescoed main hall. The 2026 artist line-up has not been published yet; check the GHMP website closer to the date.
It is far quieter than October’s Signal in the city centre, and a walk round all the installations takes about one to three hours. Read more about the building itself in our Troja Château guide.
