If you can only come once, come in May. The weather is reliably warm without being hot, the evenings run past nine o’clock, the parks are full of lilac, and the cultural season is at its peak. The trade-off is obvious: this is when Prague is busy and prices are at their highest outside Christmas.

- Beer gardens — Letná and Riegrovy Sady open properly for the season — the best cheap evening in the city. Mehr

Photography in May
Long golden hours, full greenery and warm evenings — technically the easiest month to shoot in. Sunset lands around 20:30, which makes evening couple shoots comfortable rather than rushed.
