Museum Highlights

Historic Village Setting Located in the scenic Český středohoří landscape, Zubrnice features a variety of wooden, half-timbered, and brick structures that reflect traditional Bohemian architecture. The centerpiece is a Baroque well from 1695, adding historical depth to the village ambiance.

Exhibitions and Attractions Explore indoor and outdoor exhibits spread across multiple buildings:

• Experience a recreated old village shop in a mid-19th-century brick house.
• Visit a small water mill powered by Luční potok, showcasing traditional milling techniques.

Expansion and Development Since joining the National Open Air Museum in 2018, Zubrnice continues to expand. A new addition is the barn from Zadní Lhoty near Těchlovice, highlighting ongoing preservation efforts and adding to the museum’s rustic charm.
