The seven stones commemorate the sad fate of the Jewish inhabitants of Chotěbor, who were killed by the Nazis or forced to escape from them. It is located in Na Valech street in Chotěboř in front of the house with the descriptive number 290. The author of the project is the German artist Gunter Demnig.

In Chotěbor, the stones remind the members of Vilém Bergmann’s family , who lived in the house where the school operates today.

Stolpersteine, or stones of the disappeared, have the form of cobblestones with a brass surface . Each reminds one person.
