Every September the Dvořák Prague Festival (Dvořákova Praha) brings international orchestras and soloists to Prague for three weeks. The 2026 edition, the festival’s nineteenth, runs from 5 to 23 September. Most of the big evenings take place in the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum. The smaller chamber concerts are spread across the St Agnes Convent, the Artium by KKCG at Bořislavka and a few other halls.
If you are in Prague in September and want one classical concert that is not a tourist concert, this festival is the place to look.

The venues
Rudolfinum
The neo-Renaissance concert hall on the Vltava embankment is the home of the Czech Philharmonic and the heart of the festival. The large Dvořák Hall hosts the orchestral concerts; the smaller Suk Hall is used for recitals and the talent stage. Staroměstská metro station (line A) is right outside, and Old Town Square is about a ten-minute walk.
St Agnes Convent
A Gothic convent in the north of the Old Town, today part of the National Gallery. The festival uses it for its chamber evenings.
Artium by KKCG, Bořislavka
A modern hall in Prague 6, at the Bořislavka metro station (line A). The early-evening concerts here feature young musicians and the Vienna Philharmonic masterclass participants.
Tickets
Tickets are sold through the festival website and at the Rudolfinum box office. The festival lists each concert’s availability online, including which ones are down to their last tickets or sold out. Student discounts are available.
